Rosters for 2020   Rosters for flowers and brass are being compiled for next year.  Please speak to Chris Bromwich to confirm your continued involvement.  Many thanks for your assistance.

 

Parish Walk.  Please put in your diaries Friday, 29 November for our next parish walk.at Minnippi Parklands, Carina.  Turn into Graystone Street from Wynnum Road (just before the gateway motorway).  Continue along Graystone to Stanton Road W .  Follow Stanton Road to the park area.  Parking available.  Meet at the park at 9.30am or if you require a lift please meet in the parish carpark at 9am  Contact Honor on 0410 423 446 for more information.

Parish Carols Service will be held on the evening of Sunday, 15 December (details to be confirmed).  Please save the date and consider how you can be involved.  Please speak to Brian Wood for more information.

 

Messy Children’s Church.  Sunday, 24 November.  Tim and helpers will be running a special messy time for the children during our 9am service.  Please spread the word and wear appropriate clothing.

 

Annerley Christmas Fair will be held on Saturday 7 December. We will run a Cake and Craft Stall inside Woolworths, as also a Sausage Sizzle next to the butcher's shop. Donations of Cakes and Preserves or monetary donations to the Sausage Sizzle will be much appreciated. Any inquiries, please see Janette or phone 32778848.

The scheme backfires when he is haunted by the ghost of his first wife, Elvira, who attempts to disrupt Charles'marriage to Ruth, who cannot see or hear the ghost. Safety reminder. We remind all parishioners to be aware of potential hazards within our buildings and grounds during all times. This particularly applies to our children. One identified place of concern is the fire extinguisher located near the entrance of the lower hall. Also be aware of your children in relation to the movement of cars at the back of our buildings.Drivers beware that when exiting the premises you must turn left out of the driveway. If you are on for the flower roster please be aware that flowers are not to be placed near the lectern as there is a risk they will be knocked onto the computer.

 

Anglicare’s Careforce Inala Pantry - Collections continuing—Next delivery planned for Tuesday 10 December. Please continue your donations of non-perishable food items and other items for daily living, and place in the basket at the back of St Luke’s church. If making a cash donations, please mark envelope with ‘Inala Pantry’ and place in the Collection Plate at any service. Include your name and address if you would like a receipt sent to you for any cash /cheque donation. Contact Judy or David Moy (0411 871 460 or at church) if you require further information.

 

CMS Summer School 2020—registrations are now open! From Friday 3 – Wednesday 8 January, you can join other Christians on Mt Tamborine to delve into God’s word and learn more about cross-cultural mission. Gary Millar, the Principal of the Queensland Theological College will be leading a series in 1 Thessalonians. You’ll also have plenty of opportunity to hear from and pray for CMS missionaries who are speaking. Want to bring the whole family? A children & youth program runs every day for those aged 12 months to year 12.
