This Week

· Morning Prayer on Tuesday at 9am

· Bible Study Tuesday, at 10am.

· Sunday @ 5—an informal service at 5pm each week


Choir:  Has resumed for 2020 with practices at 4-5pm each Saturday.  New members always welcome.  See Sue or Brian


Children’s Church for 2020 will resume after the school holidays on Sunday 2nd February.


URGENT Looking for leaders for children’s ministry  in 2020.  Please consider and speak to Chris Bromwich.


2020 St Luke’s Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday, 23 February 2020 at 10.15am in St Luke’s church.   Please consider nominating for a position in 2020. 


Nomination forms are available at the back of the church and can be returned to the Church Wardens.


Annual Reports need to be handed in to Chris Bromwich by Sunday, 26 January to allow time for the Annual Report to be compiled and printed for our AGM.  Many thanks for your assistance with this.


ACTS 1:8:  Planning meeting. February 2nd at 8.15 in parish centre.  Interested in being a part of this mission focussed group. Please come along. 


Commissioning Service—The Commissioning Service for our new priest,  Rev Dr Timothy Nicholson will be held on Wednesday, 5 February at 7.30pm in St Luke’s Church.  You are all invited to attend the service and supper afterwards.  Please bring a plate to share. Also we will need help on the

night for the following: people to set up the hall/s, coordinate supper and clean up; greeters, etc, as well as brass and flower roster for the night. Please see one of the Wardens.


How can we help— Before Rev Timothy starts with us there will be a number of jobs which we can all be involved in.  Please look at the following dot points and suggest others if you think of them.

·  Rectory working bee Saturday 25 January, 8.30 –10.30am .  Please bring buckets and gloves.

· Contribute to a welcome hamper for Rev Timothy and June   Suggestions: cooked slice, hand towel for kitchen with crocheted top, nice soap, home made jam, notes of welcome etc.


Request for Next of Kin   There are a number of people interred in our Memorial Garden for whom we do not have a current address for next of kin.  If you know of anyone in the Memorial Garden whose details may have changed could you please suggest they phone the Parish Office on 3848 2123 or email to provide us with this information.  Thank you
