    Dear Parish Friends This Sunday is the last Sunday after Epiphany and is one of the two days in the year that the Feast of the Transfiguration can be celebrated (the other being 6th August). I think this is a very appropriate place, as the theme for the whole season of Epiphany is 'revelation'; who Jesus is and how he fulfills God's plan for the redemption of all creation.     Dear Parish Friends We come this Sunday to the 7th Sunday after Epiphany, and more words from Jesus' sermon on the plain, so we can expect more 'on the level' speaking. The expected behaviour in Jesus' time (and probably in ours as well) was that of reciprocity. If you do something good to me, I will repay you by doing something good to you; if you do something bad to be, I will retaliate in like mind.     Dear Parish Friends I look forward once again to welcoming as many as are able to come to our services this weekend, in person or via Zoom. As Easter is late this year, we are still celebrating 'Sundays after Epiphany'; the sixth this week.
