Dear Parish Friends

This Sunday we hear the familiar parable of the Good Samaritan which Jesus tells in answer to a lawyer’s question 'who is my neighbour?' Jesus doesn't seem to answer that question directly, but instead tells what it means to be a neighbour, which is far more important than attempting to build in limits to the command from Leviticus 19:18, 'you shall love your neighbour as yourself'

Our services are as usual at 7am and 9am (also on Zoom). Our preacher this Sunday will be Rev'd Denis. Children's Church is in recess for the school holidays, but children are always welcome to our services and there will be a children's talk at 9am. The service sheet for the 9am service and the week's Notice Paper are available via the links under menu "This week".

Remember that we are only a week away from the service to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the parish and the completion of our redevelopment project. The builders are working hard to enable us to have access by that day. For the service, we are seeking help with car park marshals, welcomers and ushers - let us know if you can be involved. Savoury and sweet finger food are also needed for the afternoon tea after the service.

Yours in Christ

Rev'd Timothy
