Weekly letter from St Luke's - 22 August 2025

Dear Parish Friends

This Sunday we remember St Bartholomew. We will read from the gospel of John (where he is called Nathaniel) and reflect on the fact that he came to follow Jesus because of an invitation from his friend Philip to 'come and see'. For us in the parish at this time, as we move into a new season, this welcoming is important. Yes, it is God who moves in people's hearts, but we are to share in God's proclamation of the Good News.

Services are at our usual times of 7am and 9am with Children's Church and Zoom streaming at 9am. The service sheet for the 9am service and the week's Notice Paper are available via the links below.
