Dear Parish Friends
We come to the final week in the season of Easter. One of our readings is the final verses from Revelation, the last words in the bible: "The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all the saints. Amen." When taken with the first verse of Genesis, "In the beginning when God...", this is a reminder that God is the one constant in the whole temporal and spatial universe, the alpha and the omega, as John in the book of Revelation puts it.
The usual services are at 7am and 9am (also on Zoom). Children's Church continues for term two during the 9am service. The service sheet for the 9am service and the week's Notice Paper are available via the links below.
Then at 4pm there is a special service of Evening Prayer which will include the dedication of the Memorial Garden. The preacher will be the Rt. Rev'd John Roundhill, Bishop for the Southern Region. Many thanks to all those who have worked this week to prepare for the service, including re-interring the ashes removed last year from the old garden.
Yours in Christ-
Rev'd Timothy
