Weekly letter from St Luke's - 9 October 2026

June and I are glad to be back at Ekibin this weekend and we thank those who have looked after the parish and taken services whilst we were away.

At our 7am service we will continue with our reading of Jesus' comments about what it means to follow God. Through the parable about the wedding feast, Jesus shows that abundant provision is made by God, but a positive decision to accept this is required.

At the 9am service, we will also consider the abundant provision of God through the animals who live with us. You are invited to bring your pet (or a photo if they can't or won't come with you) and share with us all the blessings that they bring, This service won't include communion, but will, as usual, be streamed over Zoom.
