Weekly letter from St Luke's - 9th May 2025

Dear Parish Friends

This Sunday is the fourth Sunday of Easter, traditionally known as Good Shepherd Sunday as we read Psalm 23 and a passage from John's Gospel where Jesus refers to himself as the shepherd. There are images in both of these of God's care and provision for God's people, but also too that God has authority and we are the ones who follow. Note too that sheep are usually in a flock - as too are we as we gather as church.

Services are at 7am and 9am (also on Zoom). Children's Church continues for term two during the 9am service. The service sheet for the 9am service and the week's Notice Paper are available via the links below.
