Dear Parish Friends

This Sunday we remember Saints Peter and Paul, who were probably the most influential men in the very early days of the church. In fact some would say that, whilst Jesus was the reason for the church, it was founded and grew because of Peter and Paul. Peter features prominently in all the gospels as well as the book of Acts and led the church for over 30 years. Paul was a profound theologian and committed evangelist who helped the church spread throughout the Roman empire and, through his writings that were preserved, laid the basis for Christian belief.

Our services are as usual at 7am and 9am (also on Zoom). Children's Church is in recess for the school holidays, but children are always welcome to our services and there will be a children's talk at 9am. The service sheet for the 9am service and the week's Notice Paper are available via the links below.

The diocesan synod meets this weekend, starting with a service at St John's Cathedral at 7am tonight to which all are welcome. Synod continues at Churchie (Morris Hall) Saturday and Sunday and observers are welcome in the gallery. Our synod representatives are Jen Basham and Elizabeth Lamb.

Yours in Christ

Rev'd Timothy
