We now come to the high point of the church's liturgical year. Today is Maundy Thursday and this evening there will be a service, including Holy Communion, at 7.30pm in church. Tomorrow is Good Friday. There will be a family service at 10am, where we will, in words and actions, remember the Holy Week story. Then at 2pm there will be a service of prayer and music as we reflect at the foot of the cross. Both these services will be in church, with the 2pm service also stream

Lent is drawing to a close, and as it does, our journey through the story of God's salvation plans come to a head. From the origin stories of Genesis 2, through the patriarch Abraham, the great leaders Moses and David, and Ezekiel's visions of a hopeful, God-breathed future we have seen how, despite the world being a messed up place (as it continues to be), God's promises are true.
