Weekly letter from St Luke's - 15th August, 2025

Dear Parish Friends

We welcome this Sunday the Rev’d Mike Uptin, QLD and Northern NSW Regional Officer for Bush Church Aid. He will be our preacher and will also tell us a little about BCA and David and Zoë Browne whom we support in Gladstone through BCA. Mike will also address the week's gospel passage with the troubling verse "I came to bring fire", exploring what this means for us today.

Services are at our usual times of 7am and 9am with Children's Church and Zoom streaming at 9am. The service sheet for the 9am service and the week's Notice Paper are available via the links below.

Note that, due to unforeseen circumstances, the Art Show (scheduled for this weekend) has been postponed and the Theatre Society play 'The Comedy of Errors' later this month has been cancelled.
