Weekly Letter from St Luke's - 25th July 2025

Dear Parish Friends

This Sunday we continue with our reading through Luke's gospel with chapter 11, where Jesus gives a model for prayer, words that have come down through the ages as the Lord's Prayer. Indeed these words are amongst the first that are translated when a new language group wants scriptures in their own tongue. For all their familiarity, there is much that can be gained by reflecting on these words as a model of both how and why to pray, rooted in our trust in God our Father.

Our services are at the normal times on Sunday at 7am and 9am. The 9am service will include Children's Church and will be Zoomed as usual. The service sheet for the 9am service and the week's Notice Paper are available via the links under the menu item "This week".
