Services continue at St Luke's

Despite the difficult situations being experienced as a result of the Covid 19 outbreak, services at this point continue at St Luke's as we have a congregation <100. We have implemented some simple changes to ensure hygiene management is improved. The Diocese of Southern Qld has provided recommendations that we have implemented in our services.

Most importantly, if you are feeling unwell or have been in contact with anyone who has the virus, please do not attend our services or events. If you are elderly or in a high risk group, consider if you should attend. Ring the office or Rev Timothy if you need any information, assistance or if you would like us to pray for you.

We have adopted changes in accordance with the guidance you can see at: https://anglicanchurchsq.org.au/covid/

This guidance is being updated regularly, so watch it for changes.

- Hand sanitiser is provided in the church.

- When we share the Peace, we will not shake hands or move around, rather give each other a friendly wave and smile!

- When taking communion, the cup will not be shared - only the bread will be passed. If you want to stand and not touch the rail this is fine.

- Morning tea will continue, and we will only use disposable cups and plates for food and drink service.

Let's commit ourselves to prayer for those suffering from the disease, and for all those remarkable health workers who are caring for them.
