Weekly Letter from St Luke's 11 August 2022

Dear Parish Friends

We thank Rev'd Jane Mitchell for her ministry with us last Sunday and now this week we welcome Rev’d Bev Bell. It will be lovely to meet her and I’m sure she will enjoy her time in our parish.

Our services on Sunday are at 7am and 9am as usual with Children's Church during the 9am service. Zoom streaming will be included at 9am and the week's notice paper and service sheet for the 9am service are available via the links below.

My apologies that I didn’t include the weekly "Taking Faith Home" ministry sheet last week. The link for this week’s sheet is here. There will be no recording of services for this Sunday but recordings will be available again when Rev’d Timothy returns. He will return to work on Tuesday 16th August.

Honor as asked me to send out a reminder that Church News articles are due by 21st August. This wonderful publication is always full of interesting articles on parish events and items on areas that extend our knowledge. Please think of how you can contribute and speak to Honor if you’d like more information.

Also, a reminder that the St Luke’s-Lilly Lee Art Show will be held at St Luke’s Upper Hall on Saturday 27th August (10am to 4pm) and Sunday 28th August (10am to 3pm). This will be a wonderful event with works on display and for sale from over 80 artists. Enjoy refreshments from our coffee shop or the sausage sizzle. Please plan to come, offer help as you are able and SPREAD THE WORD!
