Weekly letter from St Luke's - 6 March, 2026

Our Lenten journey continues this week with Moses leading the people of the Exodus through the wilderness on their way to Canaan, and Jesus meeting a Samaritan woman on his way to Galilee. Of note in both these stories is that what happens on the journey is often as important as the destination. Here, in particular, we note that God brings the water of life, even in surprising and unexpected places, which sustains us and those we meet on the way.
Our services on Sunday are as usual at 7am and 9am (with Children's Church and Zoom streaming). During the season of Lent I encourage you to arrive for he service early for, at 5 minutes to the hour I will ring the church bell and invite you to a time of silent prayer and reflection before we sing our opening hymn. The weekly notices and the 9am service sheet are available via the buttons below.
With blessings,
Rev'd Timothy
