Weekly letter from St Luke's - 16 August 2024

Dear Parish Friends

June and I are back from leave and looking forward to worshipping with you at St Luke's (or via Zoom) this Sunday.

One thing that we do when we met together is to sing. In this we are following the advice from the author of the letter to the Ephesians (5:18) who claims that it is as we 'sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs' together that we are 'filled with the spirit'. The together is an important part of this, even if we fell unable to sing for whatever reason, the singing of others can carry us.

Services are at the usual times of 7am and 9am, with Zoom streaming and Children's Church at 9am. The 9am service sheet and the week's Notice Paper are available via the links below.
